Discovering Spirituality in Nature: A Hiking and Canoeing Adventure in Skåne!

We’ll be hiking in Söderåsen National Park and canoeing on the Rönne River in the forest of Skåne, Southern Sweden. The walking tracks are like a fairy tale, and the river wanders through fields and forests. We’ll encounter animals and birds along the way, and there are some gentle rapids to add excitement and challenge. There’s also a chance of getting wet, but it’s not too deep, and it’s part of the fun.

🛶 Canoe trip:

We will begin our canoe trip at Djupadahls Molla and end at Søderåsnes BK. The entire trip will take around 5.5 hours, and we’ll stop by the river for a midday meditation and picnic lunch. Moderate to good physical fitness is recommended for participants.

🏕️ Camping:

We will be camping at Søderåsens rest area, which has toilets, wind shelters, and fireplaces available. Participants should bring their own tent, mat, sleeping bag, and warm clothes.

🌅 Adventure:

During the day, we will embark on a thrilling journey through nature. In the mornings and evenings, we will make time for meditation, chanting, and yoga exercises to keep our spirits high. After dinner, we can enjoy music, games, and have late nights talking and singing by the fire, stargazing, or swimming in the nearby river. If you need assistance with meditation, there are experienced teachers available to guide you.

Program:

We will meet at Platanvej 30 at 16:00 on Friday the 26th.

🌿 Friday: We will travel for about 2 hours, set up camp, meditate, have dinner, and enjoy a campfire.

🌿Saturday: We will start the day with meditation and yoga, have breakfast, and spend the day canoeing with a stop for a picnic lunch on the river. Later, we will meditate, have dinner, and gather around the campfire.

🌿 Sunday: We will start the day with meditation and yoga, have breakfast, pack up camp, and go for a hike in Søderåsen National Park. We will stop for a picnic lunch before returning to Copenhagen at about 18:00.

Who can participate?

Anyone interested in meditation or willing to give it a try is welcome to join. Participants should be healthy enough to manage the hike on Saturday and brave enough to canoe on Sunday. Please note that you need to have a Danish residence permit to be able to cross the Swedish border and return to Denmark.
