PROUT Convention at Ananda Gaorii. July 19 – 24
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Global Prout Convention of 2022 will be held in person again at Ananda Gaorii, Denmark after two years of online conventions during the corona dominated time. For those not able to attend in Denmark this year, it will also be online.
Since the first Global Convention in France in 1979, global conventions have been held intermittently in various sectors of the world including The Philippines and Mexico. However, since the 50th anniversary of the year P. R. Sarkar gave the Prout principles to the world in 2009, global conventions have been organized annually by the Proutist Universal global office in Denmark and Ananda Gaori master unit. They have been attended by Prout enthusiasts from around the globe.
The convention is a meeting place where one can learn more about Prout and become acquainted with the many Prout activities in different countries, and the possibilities to visit them and work with them to contribute to building our global community. Many of these projects are addressing local environmental and sustainability issues. There will also be a children’s program so families are welcome and the parents will be able to attend the various sessions. Ananda Gaorii is located in the countryside nearby miles of beaches where one can escape. Much of the vegetarian food served will come directly from the gardens of Ananda Gaorii.
The themes of the conventions have been relevant to the global events and the focus of this year’s convention will be on training for Proutists to act locally with other organizations and project the Prout ideas and solutions in local movements. The training sessions will also be conducted online. Check the program page for more details.
For those of you familiar with the five fundamental principles of Prout, one of the principles emphasizes maximum utilization of the physical, metaphysical and spiritual potentialities of unit and collective bodies of human society. The convention is an inspiring place to develop on all three levels and there will be regular daily collective meditation sessions.
